Since many of you don’t just have to worry about getting the right SAT score for college admission, but also how you are going to afford tens of thousands of dollars in tuition, we thought we would do a post about Scholarships and where to find them.

  • The College Board’s Fund Finder scholarship database lists scholarships and other types of financial aid programs from 3,300 national, state, public and private sources. The database is updated annually.

  • The FastWeb Scholarship Search is the largest, most accurate and most popular free scholarship search site, with more than 35 million registered users. It is also the most frequently updated and provides automatic email notification of new scholarships that match the student’s profile.

  • The Scholarship Times is an online newspaper devoted to bringing parents, high school, and college students’ relevant scholarship content. Information regarding scholarships, financial aid, grants and college open houses are updated weekly. They work with numerous sources to bring you the best scholarships available.

  • The database at Scholarships.com has good coverage of awards and is fairly precise at matching you with the right Scholarship.
    Since its founding in 1999 they have helped students find money for college as well as learn about the entire financial aid process.
